Day after tomorrow I board a plane (for a really, really long flight) and head to London, England for six weeks. It's so weird because it seems like I've been waiting for this for so long and yet it feels like no time has passed at all. I have this terrible fear that I'll leave something vitally important behind, like all of my underwear, or something else absolutely essential. Knowing me, I'll leave my debit card at home...I think I may have just jinxed myself.
People keep saying things about jet lag, which I've never really considered, and now I'm really not looking forward to the sensation. I've decided I don't believe in jet lag and therefore it doesn't exist for me. It can exist for other people.
In other news, today was my last day at OneGreatFamily, my job for the last year and nearly a month. I'm feeling releaved at having escaped the new C.O.O. and all the upheaval that is sure to follow, but am also sad to be leaving my co-workers. They threw me a surprise going away party today, complete with red velvet cake and presents. Aren't they the greatest!
In six weeks I'll be looking for another job, so if anyone knows of anything, especially anything associated with Graphic Design or printing please let me know!
